Coraline - USA - Film

Selick, l'ignota mano dietro al meraviglioso Nightmare Before Christmas (si, non è di Tim Burotn la regia) si è superato facendo l'ennesimo film dark per tutta la famiglia e che parla sia a bambini che ad adulti. La storia di Niel Gaiman regge perfettamente, e d'altra parte che aspettarsi dal più grande raccontastorie in attività. Il colore è senza pari, le immagini di una poesia rara, contribuiscono a dare al film una sensazione di piacevole inquietudine.
Straodrinaria la colonna sonora: un mix geniale ed elegantissimo tra musica sperimentale e coro, per dare al film un tocco finale che aggiunge surrealismo a surrealismo, ambiente a immagini, profondità ad un ambiente già splendido.

Selick, the unknown hand behind the marvellous Nightmare before Christmas (yes, the director was not Tim Burton) has gone beyond the most darkening dreams creating a new family movie that speaks directly to both children and adults. The story by Niel Gaiman is wonderful, what else could we expect from the greatest storyteller of our times. The colors are amazing, the images poetic, everything gives its help creating a wonderful feeling.
Extraordinary soundtrack: an ingeious mix between modern experimental music and choir to give the movie the last touch adding surreal to surreal, ambient to images, depth to a wonderful setting.
